      Personal training

To be a personal trainer, the first thing you need is the ability to use the search function on a forum, and google, so that you can see the answers to your questions, which have after all been asked 4,023,560 times before.

If you lack the ability or drive to even use a basic search function, then you will have great difficulty in your studies in attempting to become a personal trainer.

If you're looking to become a personal trainer, getting certified by ACE, NASM, or ISSA is a great choice. They offer comprehensive programs that cover exercise science and training techniques. Good luck on your journey.

Will it not depend on where you are based/live?
