I am an addict. An addict of takeaways and wine. For the last eight months I have lived off curries. As the addiction grew, I knew I was in trouble when I went from Tikka Masalas to vinca loos. I knew then my life was in ruins. Then one day it happened, I was devastated, I couldn't bring myself to look at the results again. Yes, someone had taken a picture of me wearing only shorts!,, It was more than I could handle, the big lump of lard hanging over my shorts told me I must do something. I checked into rehab the next day ( the local gym) and got myself a programme. Determined to make a new life I stood on the cross trainer with full confidence i was going to have a six pack next week ! Finally after five minutes I was completely shot at. However three weeks later and I now do 30 mins without pause. But still, that great big lump of lard is as unforgiving now as three weeks ago. This is my problem, I have only lost four pounds in three weeks! I would do better on weight watchers and not have to do cardio. I go every morning at seven and do thirty mins cardio and thrity mins resistance machines, and only four pounds? What am I doing wrong?
