Before I was drinking 2-3 cans of coke zero a day and my parents were encouraging me to get off it so I did. My mom says my face hasn't broken out at all and I've noticed I'm not hungry as much. It was nice drinking it, but all it really did was make me feel bloated, fat, and hungry lol. Anybody else notice this stuff?

I've done the no soda thing several times, longest was for a year. I'm back on the no soda diet, I only drink 2% milk, water, the occasional sports drink, and my supps these days, and have been on that for a few weeks now. It feels a lot better to not have all that chit in my system anymore. I still crave soda when I see someone drinking one, but I'm fighting the temptations and it's working out well.

I drink coke zero and many other 0 or trace calorie soft drinks all the time, including the 20-25 calorie large energy sugar free drinks. It doesn't make me anymore bloated than water or has any effect on my body composition.

Eating more food than my body needs consistently - day in - day out - is what makes me bloated/fat. Nothing to do with specific food or drinks.

I'm not gonna lie I haven't had soda in over two years and I noticed nothing when I stopped drinking it except more money in my wallet.

Now I drink it once in awhile. But the other day I had a diet cream soda and didn't feel bloated or anything after. Is it just what's in coke zero?

kirks diet creamy soda (375ml) = 3 calories
      coke zero (375ml) = 1 calorie

      it's in your mind

      Nah, not really.

Individual reactions can always happen. If cutting coke zero out of your menu is improving how you feel, then by all means, cut it out.

Yes! I love Coke Zero for the taste and caffeine kick, but always end up with breakouts by the end of the week if I down a bottle per day. I'm hungry all the time, so I'm not sure if soda triggers anything there.... although it'd be interesting to compare my calorie intake on days w/soda and days w/o it (discounting any calories from the soda itself.)
