      Hello Ladies and Gentlemen,

I've been waiting for a while to post this up. I had to muster the strength to do so. It's been a long journey, but unfortunately it's still not over. I have been heavy off and on nearly my entire life. It wasn't until two years ago that I decided enough was enough.

I am 5'6", 141lbs. My heaviest was 240lbs and when I lost the weight I was as low as 136lbs. My goal was to have a six pack by summer. Little did I know that I would be plagued with loose skin. It sucks because it is a constant reminder of how heavy I was and now I have to deal with this. It certainly isn't fun.

The last thirty pounds or so I lost quite rapidly. I was getting angry by how long the weight loss process was taking and so I hit the gym hard. I was working out 5 days a week, 1 hour & 20 minutes lifting weights and 40 minutes of cardio on the elliptical right after my weight lifting. I was eating well below my caloric intake on top of that. To top things off, I never drank the appropriate amount of water either.

I lost the remainder of my weight on my birthday in March of this year. It's been about 5 months since then and haven't really noticed any tightening of the skin.

As you can see from the pictures, I have loose skin on my stomach, love handles, lower back, legs and butt. I post a picture of my behind, but I don't want to scare anyone.

It seems that losing more weight is not going to help with the loose skin problem and at 136lbs I looked the same as I do now at 141lbs.

Do you guys recommend that I put about 10lbs or so of muscle on to help fill in the area with loose skin? Any advice would be wonderfully helpful.
