I was thinking about getting off SS and moving on to like a 4 day split or something. The only reason is because starting strength is for strength and I want to gain size. So can someone give me a good split that I can do?
Kinda want to get off Starting Strength. You still gain size off SS as long as you are eating properly. That said, if you really don't want to do a split make sure you do one that hits each bodypart at least 2x a week.
Kinda want to get off Starting Strength. Starting Strength will give you a ton of size, don't let the name fool you. You will gain mass if you eat enough, and if you add weight to the bar. Now, which program will let you add weight to the bar faster? Starting strength (5-10 pound increase on most of the lifts per week, 15 for squats) or a 4 day split (5 pound increase per week at most). Once you also realize that Frequency > Volume.. there's no reason you should ever be doing a 4 day split.
Kinda want to get off Starting Strength. Do whatever you feel like. Since I also believe in frequency > volume id do a push/pull/legs split 6 days a week or an upper/lower 4-6 days a week.
Kinda want to get off Starting Strength. You said you wanted a 4 day split, so something like Sunday - Rest Mon - Upper Tues - Lower Wed - Rest Thurs - Upper Friday - Lower Saturday Rest
