Have you ever built your own computer? A 1000w PSU is not needed at all, it's total overkill. 650w will cover all bases and pretty much all futures as although today's components are faster, they are far more efficient and as a result consume far less power.
Have you ever built your own computer? It looks awful mate but I'm not into the whole "neon glow" look. It gets annoying rather quick if the pc is in sight e.g if you are watching a film in the dark with this crap glow coming from the corner somewhere. Do you want this pc for gaming or just general use ?
Have you ever built your own computer? For gaming, I've got a decent 3 year old laptop for uni/college which will do for 3 more years. I just want the desktop to play games (varying from 90's classics to current, and a ps2/gba emulator)
Have you ever built your own computer? I upgraded in November to play BF3 which included i5 Quad 3.3 CPU - Gainward 670 GPU and Asus Mobo and 16gb 1333 RAM and a 120gb SSD - Got the lot for £650 then added existing HDD I had and fortunately had a Tagas 800w PSU Runs all games out now in ULTRA setting @ 1920 x 1200 resolution on dual 27" LED's So as above, spend on the necessary bits like GPU and RAM + SSD abd you wont go far wrong... And as far as GBA and 90 classics go!!! LOL An Iphone will run those - so might as well get an Ipad and save ya ££££
Have you ever built your own computer? Good PS2 emulation requires a sh¡t hot pc as it's very hardware intensive. What size monitor will you be gaming on ?
