      Fat people no need reply

I have always had a hard time gaining mass. Today I was in the gym and I was sweating like f'cking crazy, which had me thinking, every f'cking workout for as far back as I can remember I sweat my ass off. I mean drench.

So here is my question, do you guys sweat to the point of being drench every workout? I am wondering, since I am an ectomorph, maybe I should not train to the point of sweating that much, does this make any f'cking sense?

Can you tell I am getting desperate to gain quality mass?

Also before you morons (you know who you are) tell me to eat and do compound movements, I will be nice and just say. Uhmmm yeah I know that

No mass monster here either....but I do tend to sweat a good deal during workouts.

I sweat easy, and yet do not get very damp at the gym. I take lots of time between sets and my reps are usually low. I only get soaked maybe once a month when doing drop sets. Usually the T-bar row sets it off. The heart seems ready to come out my chest.

      EDIT: disclaimer I am FAT

Carl nailed it, some folks just sweat like pigs. On leg days I will get sweaty but for any upper body workouts I almost never get sweaty. Yet a buddy i work out with is sweating like crazy 3 minutes into his workout....he actually drips all over the place and it's rather disgusting.

I'm leetle and fragile but I dress to stay as warm as I can (hoodie, sweats, shorts, beanie) and try to stay hot and sweat like crazy. Then afterwards I go drain a water bottle while I sit in the sauna.

I have been as heavy as 220 lbs. at 5'7'' and I'm a heavy sweater regardless of my weight. If I'm not sweating that's an indication I need to drink more water. I think you need to look at some other variable, you are over thinking the sweating.

There is no secret to gaining weight...eat more. Yep...that simple.

If you are not seeing scale movement, you are not eating enough. If you are dialed in right you will gain more muscle then fat...but it can work the other way too.. But it all comes down to surplus cals....especially at this point in your development. You are no newb!
