Does anyone else get sad when they see roadkill? Born! It's quite common that mothers are run over and die with their young in the their pouches and the babies end up dying when they could have been saved! Very sad. As far as I know, you wrap the baby in a towel and then take it to a wildlife rescue centre. On another note, a few NYE's ago I was on the way home from dinner and found a big dog who had been hit by a car. Celebrated my New Years cuddling with him in the road, re-directing cars and waiting for the council to come and take him to the Vet Clinic. I never found out if he survived or not...
Does anyone else get sad when they see roadkill? Nah actually a lot of that was in NE Oklahoma back in the woods. Back in the hills there are a lot of animals and **** running around and lots of hills, so you don't always see what is at the bottom of the hill until it is too late.
Does anyone else get sad when they see roadkill? Surprisingly no, the part of Wyoming I lived in was very flat without a lot of trees, so animals had a fighting chance to be seen from a long ways off.
Does anyone else get sad when they see roadkill? Well Sweet Jesus. Slow down and give the possums a fighting chance!
Does anyone else get sad when they see roadkill? I lived in Nebraska out in BFE and surrounded by cornfields and still managed to hit a black lab..chasing a cat..we saw the cat come shooting out of the corn and tried to slow down and hit the dog straight on..had to get out and drag him into the ditch..kids were bawling..
Does anyone else get sad when they see roadkill? One time I found a roadkill armadillo. So I propped it up against the side of the railing on the road and moved it's little arms so it was holding an empty beer bottle LOL. I used to have a picture, but it looked so funny.
