So there's been talk about the value of "looking big in clothes" [looking like you lift]. Got me thinking. Even BIG guys can look "unlifted" in proper fitting clothes. Example:

People tend to gravitate to what they feel they do best, and/or what comes most easily to them. 6'5", big framed guys go the strongman route, those with good physiological leverages tend toward powerlifting, those who are are 5'8" and naturally build lean muscle tend toward bodybuilding. Or some 'gym rat' version of any of the above. After the route is chosen, then human nature is to find the positive qualities of that type of training and over-hype them. Personally, I respect anyone who has the dedication to stick to their goal and get results. There's nothing wrong with a strongman looking better in a shirt than on the beach, or a ripped natural bodybuilder worrying more about the stage and pool. We don't all have to be the same. Where I personally tend to lose respect is for those who think that their goal or way of thinking is 'best' or should be the yardstick by which all others are judged. Or those who wallow around and never accomplish anything, while trying to win the internet.
