Hey all, after a little bit of cutting I chose to eat near maintenance. It wasn't really a carb up. I just chose to eat whole foods like fruits and vegetables and meats. Can this help the fat burning process by getting the extra calories?

Figuring it may be better than a possible unneeded refeed.

Didn't know if it could help shock my body. Also figured maybe it'd help my sanity. I only ate 2,473 cals as compared to 2,120 at 5'6 and 158 pounds.

Could I just got 353 lower tomorrow? or like 175 lower tomorrow and the next?

It won't really shock your body.

And you could go lower but I wouldn't. It can help with sanity and keep you motivated. It may also help your gym performance. Eating maintenance once a week is fine but it's not to do with shocking your body into fat burning or anything.

353 lower? You have serious issues dude

Calorie nutritional info is only an estimate to start so you don't know how much you consumed.

Stop being an overanalyzing nutcase and go lift for once as you never seem to

Thanks germaine. Appreciate all the help.

      Thank you stefanuus as well.

Not really even sure what my maintenence is. I'm guessing 2,600.

I do have one random question. I usually pack fruit in throughout the day. Am I putting on a lot of water weight by so? Should I be changing to things like oatmeal and brown rice?

      1. Doubt it

      2. Don't switch if you prefer to eat fruit
