Basically what he's saying is: If you're genetically incapable of digesting lactose, don't ingest it.

      Makes sense, eh?

Not exactly a bash on IIFYM, but more of a no-brain statement that should be obvious and apparent to anyone with an IQ above 70.

This article is a crapload of ridiculousness written by Captain Obvious, and should be regarded as such.

I think my point was more focused on the fact that IIFYM has nothing to do with lactose intolerance because you're supposed to use common sense when applying the principle.

Kind of like I said before, if someone who is allergic to peanuts goes and eats peanuts because it fits their macros, that's not the MACROS doing it or the principle behind it, it's their fault for not using common sense. So, in general I just thought the connection was nonexistent.. and it was very misplaced how the author brought up something that is discussed on the boards to try and support their argument.

Gotta stay on top of that DDA man.. it's crucial.

I had a peanut allergy.. but they told me IIFYM and I ate peanuts and got to the hospital.

      Proof it doesn't work.

When you told the doctor why you ate them, did he say, "Oh man.. ANOTHER one of these IIFYM people. You're the 100th person today who's come in because of this!"

      It's fast becoming an epidemic.
