      If it's only youtube it could be a flash player issue.

      What browser is it?

      Also whats the laptop for? I would splash out a little on a decent one they last longer. My old laptop was £700 but I did all my gaming and college/uni work on it for 5 years lasted me a while.

      Actually just re-read and sounds like the wireless or ethernet card could have a fault.
