      Hi.
I've lost almost 50 pounds now and something strange I've noticed (I think?) is that the first and last pound or so out of every 10 pounds on the scale always take the longest to come off. Like at 189 and 199 and 209 I was stuck on that weight for maybe 2 or 3 days. Then suddenly I'd lose the next few pounds really fast, then at 181 or 191 or 201 my weight would either stay, or fluctuate back up a little, then after 2 or 3 days I'd finally be under.

I might just be imagining it but I don't know why I would.

The body has a built-in mechanism to know every time you are about to lose a 10th pound. When this happens, it begins to slow down its calorie consumption. The human body simply does not like the second digit of your weight in pounds to fluctuate so it will fight you on it.

Is this the kind of response you were hoping for?

      What?
      Lol at the edit.
It's a serious question bro. If you're not gonna leave a serious answer don't leave one.

Its an absurd question "bro". I thought trying to give it a serious answer would have helped you realize this.

The serious answer was already given.

This forum has gotten less intelligent since you joined this month.

      Please stop posting.

This. OP has to be 13 years old or a really persistent troll.

Bro I'm new to weightloss, I didn't even know what a calorie was 4 months ago.
Just because I'm confused and asking a question that I find serious doesn't mean you have to ****ing insult me.
And no serious answer was given, all you did was say that I was imagining it without even considering it was happening and looking for a logical reason for it.
