Thanks guys, was going to go for 3 reps but the wobble un-racking it snapped my confidence so I left it at one rep

Well done buddy! I'd agree with lowering it, should eliminate that wobble.

Unracking it and the walk out looked really hard. Then you squatted it like it was nothing .

Seem to be a big lip on your hooks. Lower them a hole I reckon. You don't wan't to be fcuking about with those sorts of weights on your back

It dosen't do any harm to leave something in the tank imo.

I made the classic mistake of always going to failure every workout. Eventually reached burnout city by redlining the CNS.

If you leave a rep short of failure you can keep the gaining momentum going and get another rep next workout. TOO much is not always the best way.

I must confess I had 200kg in mind and even loaded it onto the bar after the 182kg squat, but I looked at it and chickened out
Dont need to do myself a damage just before going on holiday. I'll hit the 200kg when I get back

Great work mate and as said it looked easy peasy.

Although that rack looks terrifyingly wobbly!! Whats it put together with? blutack or sellotape?
