How much caffeine do you have in a day?

I've started having more and more caffeine via ground coffee and tea and want to reduce it back down before it affects my sleep and just wondered how much everyone has?

I used to have loads when working shifts; popping pro plus like tic tacs and also when I used fat burners. I only seriously reduced after doing research on it for my degree.

      Caffeine

Occasionally treat myself to a nice mug of fresh ground coffee. I try to keep caffeine intake to a minimum then when I do have so pre workout it hits harder.

      Caffeine

I never used to have any due to anxiety but since starting to use cutting supps containing caffeine I now drink 3 strong cups a day and sometimes have my supps too. So yeah a hell of a lot mroe than I used to. I find it is helping me loads on a low carb diet though. Helps me concentrate at work.

      Caffeine

Yeah I love fresh ground coffee. I only have caffeine in the morning due to it's half life but it's every morning so I don't feel the effects.

Yeah I use it when fasting to help me concentrate. I cut out caffeine in the past for anxiety reasons as well...I really should stop having it.

      Caffeine

I was surprised at how quickly my tolerance rose. I used to have one coffee and be a gibbering anxious wreck. Now it takes a lot to tip me over the edge and make me jittery.

      Caffeine

Yep, this is the problem with caffeine (like most drugs) you become tolerant very quickly and it looses its effect. I like my treat much more now, Taylors, Hot Lava Java has a wicked, long lasting buzz, especially now I have it with a grapefruit ;)

      Caffeine

I have grumpy mule. Is caffeine broken down in the liver then? Is that why you mention grapefruit?

I'd be find having decaf just need to come off the caffine. My plan is to stop it over the weekend so that any fatigue or headaches won't affect work.

      Caffeine

Grapefruit contains naringin (spelling!?) which increases the half life of caffeine, giving more bang for your buck.
