Hi everyone, I'm Craig, 6ftish and around 150lb mark/11stone iirc.
Looking to build some muscle aswell as make myself more toned.

      Any help/advice is much appreciated.

I only have dumbbells at home as I get intimidated at the gym.

      That's it.

      Craig

      Hi, I'm new

      Hi and Welcome,

I'm a newbie here too and have found it really friendly hope you do the same.
I must say though, the intimidation at the gym is scary but likely need to face it.. I know from my point of view I have had to learn to ignore everyone else.. pretend they're not there and get on with your workout. No one cares anyway they're just doing their own thing!

There are great vids on you tube for dumbbell workouts / exercises though but having just moved gym to get away from them and feeling the burn from the barbell squats I did on Saturday I can highly HIGHLY recommend moving to a gym with free weights.

      Hi, I'm new

Hello 2 craig, welcome. Unless you have the space and funds to build yourself a small “gym“ at home, you might just need to overcome your feers and go to a gym. Besides there will be people there to motivate and help you with your goals

      Hi, I'm new

Having felt the same I would say choose your gym wisely and you'll be fine... Go to a gym where people are there to work out rather than pose and there's no need to feel intimidated.
