Haha, seriously though, you're not the only "ugly duckling" in the world, it's a lot more common for girls to blossom after school. You'll find someone who's the same way eventually. But they might be a different type of attractive. They might not be the Kim K's or the J-Lo's, but they'll be the Zooey Deschanels and the Karmins.

      Burnt.

OP, you said you're a later bloomer so get a late bloomer girl - someone who is pretty but possibly has a deeper personality she developed earlier.

easier said than done. only a few people who know me now know i'm a late bloomer. most people i meet just assume i was always like this in high school.

this is killing me now lol i wonder how many of these swans in my classes were ugly ducklings before. i wish there was an easy way to tell from the start.

Do we find that funny because we're late bloomers and consider ourselves better than Barbiepeakedveryearly?

i have to say this is very refreshing by the way. if i asked this in the misc this would be a 5 page thread full of gifs and memes and calling OP a phaggot.

Are you telling me HighHurdler can't jump over this one? Notsrs.

Yeah, it's hard to tell. Ever see any reserved, pretty and innocent looking ones? Maybe start with them.

Naw. I thought the image of a suntanned (burnt) Barbie was funny. I was a late bloomer. I don't consider myself better that Barbiewhopeakedveryearly. I just think that some of them peaked and never developed a personality afterward. Don't find them very fun to talk to. Nor very interesting. They parrot whatever their boyfriend says...they are constantly looking in a mirror at their makeup/hair...generally not well-read...nor informed...yawn!!!
