Ready made oven cook meals.....

Heres one you might like:

Get:

> 800g of Stewing Steak (very cheap if on a budget)
> 3/4 handfuls of big carrots
> 3/4 handfuls of big parsnips
> Potatoes (as many as you want per meal)
> 1 beef stock
> 3 tea spoons bisto reduced salt

1. Peel and chop your carrots and parsnips into chunky blocks about 2/3cm in size and put to one side.

2. Brown the steak meat completely in a large saucepan.

3. Open beef stock packet, stick it in a pint glass / add hot water and stir until completely mixed.

4. Throw all the veg in to the pan and add the stock. There should be enough to form a good covering on the bottom and up about 1/3 of the food mix.

5. Add in bisto and mix with a little more hot water. Be careful not to add too much water to the pan this will ruin the meal. Season with pepper to taste.

6. Give it all a real good stir and mix up. If looking dry add a little more hot water. Bring to a light boil and then turn down to a medium heat to simmer for 30 mins.

7. Boil your potatoes. When ready drain em, throw them on a plate and add your beef mix over the top.

Delicious!

You will almost certainly have some left overs so it can go in the fridge for another time.

I really like the sound of that.
Where do you get the stewing steak? is it the asda tinned stewing steak?
Just curious as i thought the tinned one had a lot of salt content when i looked at it

thanks fella, i'l be sure to give that a go once i get paid!!

Going to start taking this serious after pay day in a week's time, get my diet sorted and cut out the heavy boozing on the weekends.

Ive made decent gains across my chest and shoulders this past few month but i know i could be doing far better with a proper diet.

Must loose this little beer gut ive started to aquire aswell, i hate it!

I will be starting a journal once ive got everything sorted, that should help me track progress and keep motivation high.

if you cut out the booze you will have plenty of money left for decent food

You can get it from any decent butcher or else in the supermarkets. Comes in the plastic packets just in the meat aisles.
