OP you have to realize that unless you are a fat hairy troll man or some sleezy guy, girls like to be asked out. It boosts their ego and gives them something to talk about. You have to change your perspective and realize that whether she says yes or no it is good for both of you.

As Richard Kiyosaki would say "Win Win". You win whether she says yes or no , because you'll gain valuable experience if she says no and if she says yes; you get to go out with her. She'll win either way as well. If she says yes, it's because she gets to go out with you. If she says no, at least she knows that someone thinks she is cool and attractive.

When all is said and done you'll be fine. Nothing to sweat.

I never thought about it like that before. So if she says no she'll still have respect for me? Like we can still be friends without it being awkard?
