      For the past 3 days or so my left ear is constantly ringing and feels blocked (like I'm on an areoplane). It happened after I tried using an ear bud on Friday to unblock it lol. Getting worried as I thought it might have gone by now. It doesn't help that I listen to my iPod a lot...

      Obviously I'll go to the doctors but is it anything to really worry about?

      P.S Can't draw with a blocked ear.

      It's just your ear dieing to that frequency... Once its stopped it means you will never hear that sound again so don't worry

      you might have dislodged a bit of wax so that it's pressing against the ear drum. before you go to bed put a few drops of olive oil in it, then put some cotton wool in it. Do it for a week or two. it should clear up. If it doesn't you've got ear cancer and will be dead before the month is out.

      You have compacted the wax, drop some warmed EVOO into it for a few evenings, will get worse before it gets better. Dont bother with otex or anything like that as this definately makes it worse for longer!!

      So just drop some olive oil directly into my ear or on the end of a bud?

      directly into your ear mate. 4 or 5 drops. warm it slightly in the microwave first. but make sure it's only slightly!
