      No supplements?

I've trained without supp's for several periods of time in my life, and for me personally I've come to realise that while I can do without over 99% of supp's if my diet is good, to help me get the amounts of protein I need (without struggling with the amount of eating) and to get the most out of training (to maximise the response) I do best when I use either whey or EAA's around my workout... but other than a couple of other supp's that do work well in specific conditions, generally most are not worth it on a cost vs degree of effect basis IMO.

Puzzled by the 'I don't think you'll make any gains' comment lol

Quick, easy, cheap, purpose built - why wouldn't you?

I couldn't go as hard as I do without protein, glutamine, BCAA's, and I cycle my jack3d.
I am constantly suffering from minor aches and pains and use massage regularly to help with the small pains.
I would think recovery would be much slower if only using foods and no supps.
You can try it, sounds like it works for some but I know I wouldn't be able to eat enough to get 270g of protein ED.
I'm behind you. Would love to see how you get on.
I stand by my opinion though that if you want to gain mass or strength it would take longer as your body will take longer to recover.
