      A little advice on how to out smart a manipulator.

      I'm a senior manager at my company and responsible for ensuring new starters complete their training prior to getting placed with other teams. A girl on the course who is really attractive has made some comments to another on the course that she has me wrapped around her fingers etc. She doesn't as i treat everyone the same but i did know her prior to starting, just saw her around a few bars, never really spoke to her etc.. When she recognised me out after she started training with us recently she came over made a fuss of me etc so i really couldn't avoid her, she now does this when ever she sees me out. I didn't mind until another girl (and one of the guys) mentioned some comments she's made about being really friendly with me, obviously she has the wrong end of the stick, i speak to her about the company when i see her our but she has no special treatment or anything from me. I am however now annoyed that she is choosen to make something of me being friendly with her outside of work and just wondering if i should say something to her when i see her next or just ignore it. What do you think?

      Ignore it. Be mindful of your comments and behaviour regarding her though. You don't want to create a problem for yourself.

      This is my main concern as i'm well respected at my firm and i would be really ****ed off if some wannbe tart makes up some bull**** causing trouble.

      Exactly, so don't give her the chance. If anyone comments further, just explain it like it is. If you see her out, distance yourself a bit so she knows you still consider yourself her boss and you're not interested in her personally (unless you are lol).
