All day drinking yesterday and now ive a huge problem

I was on the drink from 9 oclock yesterday morning right up untill about 12 last night and ive now got the worst hangover ever but ive woken up with that thing thats right in between your tansills, its swollen up to about 5 times teh size it normaly is. I have to breath in and out through my nose because when i breath through my mouth, it keeps moving about and making me gag. Its freaking me out now ffs because i think its getting even bigger. Is there anyone on here that this has happened to before and what was it thats wrong. If it gets anyworse, im going to go to A&E because its starting to scare me. Would it even have anything todo with taking nolvadex for teh last 2 weeks?

Sounds like its your tonsils mate-get a docs appointment, you can get throat spray with an antiseptic in it from the chemist.

The dangling thing, is your Uvula, but don't know what it's for. It sounds inflamed, maybe gargling some very cold water a couple of times might help. Try & cut down on the drink, tho'.

Drinking all day last year made me wake up with a bpm of 130. Went to a&e got a bollocking, got put on a drip and got sent home. Just get down to a&e and get sorted out bud.

Swollen Uvula. Commonly caused by a dry mouth from excess drinking.

It's called the uvula. I wouldn't worry about it to much. Just keep and eye on it and go to the doctors if it doesn't get better in a few days. By the sounds of it all day drinking has taken it's toll on it and it has swollen up. It could be infected or you could have caught tonsillitis.

Last time i had tonsillitis it effected my uvula really badly. It grew to at least 3 time it's size and started hanging down my throat. As a result I kept swallowing it! Not nice.

Anyway if i were you i would get myself down to boots and get some good antibacterial throat spray and drown the little fcuker in it. It should definitely help take the edge off. If it doesn't get better in a few days then it's off to the doctors. Hope this helps.
