I have tried and tried again to get my fitness regime on a long term footing but still finding it difficult. Any advice to maintaining my motivation? What works for you?

      Small steps and staggered goals.

Set yourself a number of small goals which will motivate you to hit the next one, etc. As you hit more and more of your short term goals you will be moving towards your longer term goals without even thinking about it :)

I have tried this in the past and it didnt quite work - perhaps I was doing it wrong. I used to have a chart on my wall showing progress, etc when maybe I need to take a break from all this in the office, concentrate on work and then switch to my health and fitness regime outside of working hours. Keep the 2 seperate?

I am in the same boat - I think my biggest problem last time around was a lack of variation. I literally got bored doing all of the same things over and over again. Is this a common complaint?
