I eat about five times. My first meal is around 6:30 am, followed by another meal at 10 am, lunch at 11:50 am, another lunch at 3 pm and the last meal of the day at 6 pm. I find that by sticking to this schedule I can get away with eating less since my stomach is never really empty.
What schedule works best for you?

Why do you need to have a constantly full stomach? I usually eat around three meals per day but I am now down to two meals as I am on a strict cut before Christmas.
I don't see a need to eat 5 to 6 meals per day. I used to do it in my early bodybuilding years but not now.

I have to agree with "Musclemad". I don't understand why people eat that many times a day. I only eat twice a day which is working out really good for me. Losing mad fat and gaining muscles. There is no reason to eat that many times in a day.

Is eating only twice a day healthy? I got told I should not miss meals and I am working to try not to. I am looking for three or four times a day, not two.
I also got told less than three meals a day slows my metabolism down.

I eat the "classic" three times a day. Breakfast, lunch and dinner. I try not to eat after 7pm, but as I can't eat before the gym and come home from work at around 6pm, that is not always possible.

I typically eat 3 to 4 times a day. I find this just works the best for my schedule. Therefore, I mostly just have 3 meals about 4 hours apart. If I'm starving in the late evening I might have a small snack.

Yes it is healthy, it is good for insulin sensitivity and glucose control. Meal frequency does not alter the thermic effect of food, it;s a myth.

Missing meals is natural from an evolutionary perspective and it will feel natural if you are fat-adapted.

I eat about 3 times a day and that is not including snacks. I don't like to have huge meals at a time so I tend to break them out in the day.
I also try very hard not to eat after 6 pm but I do eat some fruits here and there after that time.
I also would like to add that the biggest meal that I have during the day is breakfast and the rest of the day I have healthy good portion snacks and a healthy lunch of a salad.

It really varies for me day to day, some days I'll eat 2 big meals, others it'll be more like 6-7 small meals.
