  • Hated foods turned into loved foods?

      Which food or foods did you hate as a child but now you absolutely love?

      For me it would have to be broccoli and rice. I pretty much eat this food every week in different ways whether it is mixed with chicken or just steamed with a salmon on the side. I can't imagine my diet without rice or broccoli and when I think about when I was small it just makes me smile because every time my mom wold prepare broccoli or rice it was always left on the plate(haha).

      I am so picky, I can't think of any more besides spinach. I wish I could switch maybe 5 foods from "hate" to "love" and I would be so much healthier.

      I agree whole grain rice and broccoli are two huge staples of my diet as well, would be tough with out them. Though I am weird, I refuse to eat cooked broccoli, only raw for me.

      I used to hate eating mushrooms when I was a kid. Probably because of the way my mum cooked the mushrooms, they were always slimy. Nowadays I love mushrooms, they have a nice earthy flavour and they also add texture when cooked properly.
