So lately I have stopped leg work outs because my knees have been aching at night.

They almost feel like growing pains from when I was young but I'm 22 now and really doubt I'm getting any taller.

IDK why or how they hurt, does this or has this happened to anyone else before.

Its only at night that I notice it.

I suppose your knees might be overworked. Maybe you had an intensive training the previous day? If the pain continues, I advise to consult it with a specialist. Knee aches are rather dangerous.

Maybe use a kneeband, just google it. Helped me alot when I started to get knee problems when I was playing floorball for some years ago.. Now my kneeproblems are over but still, kneeproblems are not cool. Were you doing squats?

Listen to your body. Take time off if it doesn't go away and it worsens. I started feeling knee pains months ago, I'm not sure why, but I took a week off and my knees have been fine since, no pain.

sorry guys, its not workout sore..

Like idk what the deal has been I have been skipping my leg days because they ache so much.

Could I actually be growing still at 22?

When I was young I hit my growth spurt when I was 13 and went from like 5'3 to 6'1 but have stayed this tall since then.
think its possible? I read something one time saying guys don't stop growing until 25? any of that true?

You could still be growing. I get knee pains all the time too though and I know I'm done growing lol. I'm 20 but I'm a girl. I think mine could be arthritis. I'd get it checked out if it's bothering you too much.

I have some knee problems too. I do light (very light ) dumbbell squats and my knees hurt. Probably due to motorcycle accident damage way back. I am wondering about putting on a tensor bandage but it seems like overkill. Like I said I do very light squats. I am btw not 20 either. I am an ol' guy.

Could be because you are overweight.
I weigh 10.5st and am pretty comfortable at that weight.
Ideally my weight should be 11st for my height however, I personally feel too heavy at that weight and find it puts a lot of extra pressure on my knees making my footsteps heavier and the impact on my knees too much and causes them to ache after walking or standing for too long where as half a stone less is okay for me.
