      About's calorie calculator.

      hmm, according to this, I should consume about 3,394 calories a day to reach my goal weight of 135 lbs by January 09, 2013. Is it really that hard, gaining 10 kgs? Also, this is the program I made myself for this, judge, add, remove or do anything if you feel it's needed;

Morning; 600 ML of multi-vitamin juice, 2 slices of bread, half a litter of 3.5 fat milk.
Noon; A normal meal of 500-700 calories, half a litter of 3.5 fat milk.
Afternoon; 73g raisins and 73 g various nuts. They're of high caloric value. Also, half a litter of 3.5 fat milk.
Night; Dinner of 500-700 calories, half a litter of 3.5 fat milk.

It's based on GOMAD diet. That's about 3400-3900 calories a day.

      Quick questions:

      1) How old are you?
      2) Is your profile information correct: Height: 5'10", weight 111 pounds?
      3) Are you male or female?

You're clinically underweight, and significantly so, for someone of your age, height and gender. Thus, I strongly urge you to talk to your parents about your weight and ask them about seeing a physician so that the underlying cause of your underweight can be properly diagnosed and successfully treated.

It's really that bad or you're just speaking formally?

FYI: The sticky does NOT contain forumlas that are accurate or appropriate for someone who is 16 years old as that individual would still be growing and thus have different nutritional requirements especially in regard to total energy intake.

It's something that warrants review by a physician to ensure that the underlying cause of your underweight is understood and treated appropriately.

If you were borderline underweight, that would be one thing, but ~99% of males of your age and height weigh more than you, which is very significant and it strongly implies that there is something going on that requires treatment.

And, with treatment, it's likely that you'll be entirely fine very quickly.

Under-weightanorexia is my category. It doesn't sound bad, it's 11 kgs close to ideal weight's threshold.

Also, about the treatment, won't they just give me a diet? It'd be bad if I just follow the diet I wrote?

It's prudent to meet with a physician who can order the necessary tests to determine why you're underweight and develop a plan to address the root cause.

Please speak with your parents or, if you feel uncomfortable talking with them for any reason, a teacher at school about your weight issue.

My mother is a doctor... Pedeatrician to be precise, and doesn't force me to eat more or even say that I am underweight. Are you sure that 50 kgs are clinically underweight for 5'10''?
I might talk to my biology teacher, she seems to know a lot about human body.
