Any horror movie/tv show fans here? Since Halloween is coming up real soon, I thought might ask about horror movies. What your all time favorite horror movies and or tv shows?

Me, I love anything with vampires, werewolves and zombies especially the classics and I do love good ole slasher flicks like Friday the 13, halloween and nightmare on elm street.

I love the classics too. Watching series like Nightmare on Elm Street is fun because of how cheesy they get with each sequel.
I really like Carrie too. The end scene where she reaches her hand up from the grave gets me every time!

The show American Horror Story is pretty creepy, yet campy too.

I love horror movie stuff. October is my fav month, because of all the good movies. Can't wait to see Silent Hill 2. Silent Hill 1 was pretty damn creepy.

Dawn of the Dead, 28 Days Later, Silent Hill, Resident Evils if I'm bored, Saun of the Dead, Event Horizon, Amityville, Goosebump movies, watched Halloween Town and Halloween Town 2 with the kids.

      good stuff right there

      I like Korean horror. It's a lot more mindfuking/messed up/bold.

A Tale of Two Sisters and To Sir With Love deserve some honourable mentions.

To add onto that, there are some good foreign horror. Saw one with Vincent Cassell called Sheitan, pretty good. Saw English comedy horror called Dog House, pretty good.

I always wanted watch American horror story and the walking dead but never get around to watching them. They say are both great shows. I love Freddy Krueger and sick twisted humor. But all my favorite is mr jason voorhees. He has the best and creative kills.

I love the dawn of the dead remake, fast zombies are a hell of a lot scarier than slow moving zombies. The Amityville Horror remake with Ryan Reynolds creeped me out. It was surprisingly good.

In horror movies, I always root for the animals instead of the people. I hate it when the dog dies in horror movies like in jaws poor pippet but thats because I love animals.

I see some movies mentioned that I never heard of. I might have to check them out.

i haven't seen to sir with love, but i do love south korean and japanese horror. they are each very very messed up in their own lovely ways.

      favorites
      uzumaki
      hansel and gretel
      tale of two sisters
      cello
      thirst - more love story/weirdness
      retribution

and these are not "horror" but are so twisted that i would only recommend them to people with that sort of lean
      audition
      ichi the killer
      dumplings
      cold fish

      and other favorites
      alien
      nightmare on elm street
      the descent
      the german Funny Games
      the hills have eyes
      high tension

the cabin in the woods was great fun. similar to scream in that it plays with it's own genre.

Move to Sydney and have a movie night with me please!

I love the Jap's and Korean's and their obsession with revenge.
