      Cant imagine anything worse, doing all the hard work but not losing the weight.

      I have given up but not due to the lack of weight loss. Rather it was due to injury of my muscles.

      There must be a point where your body starts to use stored fat as energy which should lead to weightloss? Any increase in exercise will increase the amount of energy you burn.

      Yes there is such a point and that is ketosis. A low carb, low protein diet can initiate it as can exercise. In fact, I think what people call the wall in marathoning is the transition from glycogen to ketones. I was in ketosis once but it wasn't from either of these 2. It was from appendicitis that I had on July 29 2017. I was nauseous and did not eat from when the symptoms started to about an hour after the appendectomy. So for hours, I was in ketosis and not eating. I could not sleep while I had appendicitis. The most I could do is relax.

      But suprising as it is, I wasn't all that tired. Maybe ketosis had something to do with my lack of tiredness?
