On my second cycle of wendlers, third week. Was supposed to do 75% five times, 85% 3 times, and 95% once. While I hit my reps on 75% and 85%, I missed 215x1....my bench is stalling badly. I hit 225 1RM back in March after three months of serious lifting and I don't think it has gone up since. Now while my squat, OHP, and deadlifts are progressing pretty consistently, my bench is STUCK. What could be the problem?

o hai. nah man, there's something definitely wrong here. I always hear about people plateauing at around 225, and I've been here for the better part of 7 months. I'm ready to get past two plates

really discouraging to hear since I'm doing Wendler's myself. In order to reach proper gains some guys ( like me ) are doing some assist lifts to enhance the strength for the main lifts, like dumbell/kroc rows, dips, pull ups. So I wonder what kind of layout of 5/3/1 are you running?

edit: I'm assuming you are doing your benches with proper form, else we are done here..

You said you have hit 225 before so you should be able to hit it especially if your other lifts are going up.

Up your mental game when it comes to the bench

This may be my issue. I've been looking online and trying to make sure I've been doing it correctly, but I can't be sure. Will post video next time I bench.
