I've noticed that more and more people train according to what their smartwatch tells them.

      Recovery score? Rest.

      Body battery low? Easy day.

      Readiness score high? Push harder.

Don't get me wrong, I think the technology is brilliant, and it can be really useful. But sometimes I wonder if we've come to trust our watches more than we trust ourselves.

There have been mornings when my watch has said I'm only half recovered, yet I've felt great and had one of my best workouts. Other days, it's told me I'm ready to go, but my body has clearly had other ideas.

For me, the watch is just another tool. It shouldn't make every decision.

How do you use fitness trackers?
      • Do you follow the data closely?
      • Do you mostly ignore it?
      • Or have you found that it's genuinely improved your training?
