      who does them as part of their back routine and do you do lat pulldowns aswell afterwards i did this the other day had no energy after this would it be better to do one week lat pulldowns and one week pullups ?

      Batter wide grip pull ups for a few months and i guarantee you will see a vast improvement if your form is spot b*llock.

      I knocked out 16 today, full reps, fully extended arms before i pull up. I could of got 20, but i didnt want to burn myself out and i was doing a set of close grip after it

      Love pull ups

      I do these once a week, tears my lats apart. Great exercise though!

      I do 3 x 8 sets of wide grip pull ups, deep dips and benched press ups 3 times a week.......don't bother with lat pulls no more, thats just me though.

      i can only do about 5 at the mo lol. but if i concentrate on doing these and forget about pulldowns for now maybe do 5 sets of 5 see hows that goes ?

      whats funny about that ?

      i know for a fact i could of pushed out 4 more reps, but whats the point ? i wouldnt be able to match it on the close grip, which is what i like to do. They arent a muscle building exercise ? i just do them at the start while im fresh to get a warmup
