This is the first year that I've had my own (technically rented) garden so I've taken advantage of it by growing my own veg. I'm space limited but have donethe best I can and plan on far more effieicent ways to grow things next year. But it's really exciting going out to see how things are progressing! I just wondered if anyone else is partaking in the joys of growing their own stuff?

Who grows their own veg? Do your strawberries have any flowers yet? Well done with the grapes...they're pretty difficult aren't they?! I've never seen a kiwi tree before! Wahey! Well done! Are you going to out them in bigger pots soon? The strawberries will taste lovely. We had an early few recently and they were sooo sweet!
Who grows their own veg? We've got a 1200 acre farm that grows all sorts of stuff does that count Veg related, peas spring to mind.
Who grows their own veg? Strawberry tree is pretty much dead as had a load of crows attack it when it started growing. Grapes weren't too bad just very temperamental. Last year the vine covered the wall I have it growing up this year after being trimmed back it looks dead. Will take a picture later of kiwi tree n post it up
Who grows their own veg? Little tip for ya mate. If you wanna grow spuds or carrots then grow them in a big bucket, like the big ones for horses you see in bq that have the little handles on the side. No insects will get to them and i promise you wont grow them better in the ground.
