My sister's long time best friend is very proud of being obese. She's VERY obese and refuses to lose any weight. Think almost professor Klump size. She tries to find articles that explain how being this big can be healthy. She's a very nice person and has a great heart but she constantly preaches on Facebook about fat being gorgeous and how people are fat shaming obesity when they blame fat on diabetes and diseases when it's true! She put up an experience today of what happened: "on the bus headed to work today a young 20-something babysitter gets on the bus with her 4 year old twin boys. Mikey looked over at me and said "YOU'RE VERY FAT!" the babysitter was aghast and quickly looked at me in horror then looked at Mikey and said "THAT'S NOT NICE!" she then turned to me and apologized profusely. I looked at Mikey and said "WHY YES! I AM VERY FAT! That is a very astute observation!" i then looked at her and and said "Why is that not very nice? It's only not very nice if you THINK FAT IS A BAD THING..." She said "Well I would never say a person is skinny! or fat! or anything!" and I looked at her and exclaimed "Yes, that is because you are an adult..." She responded that I made a good point.... obviously." Basically the kid said she was very fat, the babysitter told her "I'm so sorry!!" and then she got angry when she apologized because she basically hates when people don't acknowledge fat as a good thing. It's kind of funny because my sister workouts a lot and is considered gorgeous by many guys whereas her bestfriend just preaches about obesity being great.

What do you think about people being VERY proud of their obesity? Maybe the fact that her sister is so fitness inclined and people recognize her for it makes the fat sister want to stand out in her own right in an area that she can achieve.
What do you think about people being VERY proud of their obesity? You never see that sort of thing with guys, its mostly LAZY girls who try to justify it. There is nothing healthy about 40% bodyfat but they try to find some way and means to justify it, even saying that thin people can get diabetes so they MUST be ok to be that overweight. Just dont get upset when you have to pay for two plane tickets.
