Hi do you think this is too many meals whilst cutting aim is to keep metabolism burning through day.
7.30 - shake blended -5 egg whites, 50g oats, 1.5 scoops protein powder. Green tea and grapefruit juice
      10.30 - 2 x scoops whey protein (40g protein no carbs)
      12.30 - brown rice chicken/tuna and veg.
2.30 - protein shake with oats.
4.30 - tuna whole meal roll.
      Workout
      6.00 - protein shake fruit
      7.30 - fish/chicken/steak brown rice and veg.
      9.30 - tuna
Wake in night 1.5 scoops protein and skimmef milk then back to sleep.

not if you enjoy eating like that. meal timing is largely irrelevant, the metabolism thing is a myth, i would never think of doing that to myself, especially on a cut, but to each his own. search around this site/the forums/the rest of the internet if you still have reservations about believing that.

Lol..and you wake up at night?

I would cut your meals in half and have some more whole foods. Meet your calorie/macro targets during your waking hours.

End up with the same conclusion.

      Up to you.

I don't find it a chore. I could easily eat less or more if someone thought it would be beneficial to cut some meals out.

      It doesn't matter.

That said, your diet is one of the most asinine I've seen. Why would anyone awake in the middle of the night to drink a protein shake? And why in the world would you be drinking 5 protein shakes per day? How much protein are you consuming?

Number of meals is completely irrelevant to body composition and metabolism. What's relevant is total intake each day, whether it be spread across 1 meal or 100 meals per day.

I guess the OP doesn't know that digestion takes 24 to 72 hours to complete, but he does know how to fall for supplements marketing.

Hopefully he now knows, and knowing is half the battle. Or in this case, a much smaller percentage.
