      What about whey+dextrose during workout as per Layne Nortons below article.

      I also suggest consuming a shake composed of 30-40g of whey protein along with dextrose or maltodextrin during their workout. The carbohydrates in the shake should account for about 20% of one's total daily carbohydrate intake.

      This Shake Will Have Several Benefits:

      Spare muscle glycogen and increase performance.
      Spare muscle tissue.
      Maintain a constant release of insulin, therefore inhibiting cortisol release.
      The continuous ingestion of carbohydrates will ensure that adequate substrate is available for the glycolytic pathway.

      It is also a wise idea to consume a post workout meal composed of whole food, low GI carbohydrate sources (although one may consume another protein shake if they feel so inclined) about 30 minutes after finishing the in workout shake.

      Don't take the advice of the super site. The information there is either bogus nonsense or just outdated.

      so you u shouldnt believe articles from a bodybuilding site, or pro bodybuilders, but rather believe forum posters? hmmmmm........ surely there is some truth behind it?

      no there's surely some marketing ploy behind it. sure you can build muscle by eating certain foods post workout, but it is unnecessary and no where near as important as the daily macro and calorie consumption.

      Please don't let this turn into yet another "he guy at my is RIPPED and thus more knowledgeable than you"-thread.

      BB.com wants to make you believe that you need their supplements. The super site is a major source of "knowledge" for the naive consumer.

      dont know what to believe these days. guess i should listen to skinny kids behind keyboards (not stabbing at anyone here, jsut saying). Who do you believe? How do i know in year 2020 that all the stickies in here arent crap and new revolution comes about????
