Went to Flame Broiler for lunch today and figured I'd update my food log as well. I checked the nutrition facts and they don't list total fat, only saturated fat... wtf? Surely my huge chicken plate has more than 7g of total fat. This seems like a scheme to get people to think they're eating a low fat meal. Reps to anyone that can approximate the total fat of that meal.
Saturated Fat = Total Fat?? (pics) The chicken plate contains ~28.5 grams of fat. The beef plate contains ~25.5 grams of fat.
Saturated Fat = Total Fat?? (pics) While it might be inconvienient they gave you enough information to figure out the fat content anyway, so not that hard Beef has about 25.3 grams fat
Saturated Fat = Total Fat?? (pics) Thanks! I've always wondered what the actual amount of fat was. Just curious, how did find out?
Saturated Fat = Total Fat?? (pics) Couldn't you deduce it from the total calories, protein, and carbs?
Saturated Fat = Total Fat?? (pics) Not really. The country is nutritionally clueless so anyone aside from a chain restaurant can do just about anything they want.
Saturated Fat = Total Fat?? (pics) There was a thread started the other day by a guy that consumed an entire box of spaghetti. He wanted to know how he could figure out the calories since the box only listed calories per serving and the box label said it contained 8 serving. Seriously.
