I'm currently sat reading different recipes for different meats that I can cook on my day off tomorrow

I've narrowed my choices down to some slow cooked ribs, and while i have the oven on such a low temperature for such a long time, I'm going to do a brisket for meat to eat for the next few days.

I was torn between the brisket and pulled pork, but decided on the beef.

Anyway, this wasn't just a pointless update on my meat preferences. I'm interested what meats other people are eating, other than the standard chicken breast/tuna/steak etc.

I recently tried venison sausage, it was pretty tasty. Felt abit wrong sticking it on a butty with tomato sauce though

I was eating brisket for a week a few months ago after I got a huge hunk cheap!

Cooked it for about 4 hours in a pot roast tin. Meat fell apart as soon as the fork touched it!

      I want more.

I haven't tried venison yet. Tbh, I'm loving roasts and things recently, I like to have something to eat cold for a few days afterwards.

I made a 2kg brisked on sunday, and had it for 2 meals monday, 2 meals tuesday and still have a nice chunk left for tomorrow. I've been eating it cold with horseradish and salad, but I think I'll try the rest in a stir fry.

I went through a phase last year when duck was on offer of eating fried duck breast with rice and a bbq glaze

Got a slow cooker for Christmas last year and I love it! Get up in the morning and chuck all the ingredients in then go to work, get home and it's all cooked perfect.
Slow cooking cheaper cuts of meat can save lots of money and they end up so tender you never miss out ;)

I've only ever had duck from the chinese, might have to try it though.
