I wake up at 6:00am and at the gym around 7am my question is what to eat Pre work out. currently im having 2x ww toast, some fats, ff cottage cheese and a whey shake. i was thinking of dropping the toast completely, adding 25g oats and a banana ( still keeping the fats and FF cottage cheese and whey). mix complex and simple carbs pre workout ok like this? extra info vitargo intra and post with whey and 1 hour later on, oats and eggs (4 white and 2 full)
Pre workout meal help Individual responses vary in regards to this subject. If that works well for you keep it up.
Pre workout meal help You don't need carbs pre/post workout, it's personal preference Lol at vitargo, you're wasting so many calories
Pre workout meal help Some fats + fat free cottage cheese.....mind=obliterated. Literally all of your post is completely unnecessary and subject to personal preference....not actual physical benefit.
Pre workout meal help Lol... love my peanut butter mixed with cottage cheese ok so skip the vitargo and go for something cheaper. Pre workout, whatever feels better.
Pre workout meal help To add to that, you don't 'need' to have a pre workout but do so if it makes you feel more like you can train. I can't train without at least a couple of large coffees in me so I have "something on the stomach" (usually train mid morning), but other than the caffeine I know it's purely a placebo/mental thing.
Pre workout meal help main reason is that im so hungry in the morning, this helps me train better . just was confused whether it should be a simple carbs/complex or both.
Pre workout meal help Agreed.....many cut carba pre WO completwly so that ur body uses fat for energy instead of carbs. And also agreed on vitargo....i was using nutrex volu gro until i realized i was downing 300 cals in a few gulps post WO...save those cals for whole foods.
Pre workout meal help I don't agree with telling OP to completely cut carbs so as to use fat stores. Net energy balance will determine if he loses/gains weight. Also, if they help him perform better, why cut them?
