      Hello there,

      I am 47, 5FT 8 and Weight 130(Nearly 59KG)

The Calories I am eating is like 1,600 or 1,700 which seem rather low.

So questions I am asking is How many Calories do I need to get to 10 Stones?

You might find this calorie calculator useful:-

      https://www.forbes.com/health/body/calorie-calculator/

I also saw this on Google:-

"One pound equals about 3,500 calories. If you consume 500 calories fewer than what your body uses to maintain weight daily, you'll lose 1 pound in a week. You can also increase the number of calories your body uses with more physical activity to create this caloric deficit."

For Example, a 20-year-old girl needs 1930 calories, but once she's 70, she only needs 1600. So, it depends upon the person. The number of calories you can eat to lose weight depends on the following factors:1. First, you must check gender, weight, Age, and Height.

Men VS Women - Daily Calories to Lose:
      1lb/wk 1.5lbs/wk 2lbs/wk
      Women 1608 1358 1108
      Men 1836 1586 1336

      Hi @HenryMartinez93

Great post - I think many people looking to tone up and lose weight have no idea how to do the calculations. As a consequence they either lose minimal weight or go overboard and lose too much too quickly. I wonder if an online calorie calculator might be useful for our site?

I havent been on for a while bit things seem to be moving again with a little more activity. I think an onlne calculator would be useful as I for one havent got a clue what my calorie intake should be and how I should adjust it to lose weight and become more toned.

1,500 calories per day would be seen as low caloric intake for the majority of people and is often not advised over the long term.
