      help with new car

      thats not that unreasonable?
to keep my car(106) next year is going to be 1400 to insure, if i get a 1.8 astra coupe its 1200.
its cheaper for a faster car, yes. but coupe's got alot more safty, and you wont see many body racer 18 year olds in one, therefore they're not a liability like, say, a saxo.
i've checked, check and check again and got quotes already so know what to expect.

just after advice on a car. not insurance.

Like the others saying. You need to ring the insurance companys and get a quote.

Your 18 and want to get insured on a golf?

If you go with Direct Line, & get a close relative to insure it in their name, you can also be added to the policy. With them, when you take out a policy of your own

your no claims will be added to it. At least that was the case 2 years ago.
