So most people know Australia is an expensive county but honestly $7 for a small tub of mushrooms and $5 for the most tinniest tub of tomatoes its pretty shocking! Its expensive for anything fresh : salad, fruit, veg its criminal! however all the food has so much flavour!

So basically the cheapest things ive found are eggs and tuna which i know are great for my diet but its getting a little boring as there is only so much u go do with them!

      Any suggestions?

PS Other than that Australia and my travels are pretty immense :O)

I cant believe it's so expensive now when I was there 9 years ago it was about half the price for food as the UK, my weekly shop was like $50 and included really good stuff.

They produce so much food for export I wonder how the hell they can be expensive!?

Eh? The place is crawling with free protein girl, witchety grubs in bark, wombats, koalas and kangeroos everywhere you look, snakes and crocs wherever there are bushes and water as well as fish in the sea? What you need is $12 dollars for a baseball bat and the australian free buffet is at your beck and call, oh and I belive that the koalas are a protected species so only batter them to death under the cover of darkness and never in front of witness's or police officers
