i know there are tons of threads on this but this is individual. I weigh 167 pounds and have been eating 4200-4500 calories for the past 6 weeks and lost a pound of weight somehow. i count my calories religiously so the 4200-4500 is not a guess it is my actual intake. so my question is, is it possible this could point to an overactive thyroid making my metabolism to high or what, cause it is getting a little ridiculous eating this much with no gains. also my strength keeps going up so i am making gains in that aspect that is why it is so weird to me. thanks for any help guys.
Dont Gain weight You can track your calories till you're blue in the face, it won't matter if you don't know your maintenance. Please visit: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showth...hp?t=121703981
Dont Gain weight well no **** i have done the maintenance plenty of times for my weight and activity level it should be around 3500-3800 soooooo.
Dont Gain weight Well if you're losing weight eating above maintenance you're a wizard and I bow to you, sir!
Dont Gain weight you have obviously never heard of your thyroid. an overactive one can make weight gains near impossible as well as an under active making losing weight near impossible.
Dont Gain weight Chances are that you are miscounting if you do not weight everything that you eat. Believe me, it is very easy to overcount/undercount. If you think you have everything dialed up, try to open an topic on Nutrition Log forum and post pictures of your daily intake so we can evaluate it. If you think you have a medical condition you should seek a physician to handle that (or eat more). Most important, stop whining.
Dont Gain weight yesterdays diet. 500 cal weight gainer (wake up) 140 2 slices bread 100 pastrami 140 2 cheese slices 100 banana 290 trail mix 500 weight gainer 1200 chick fil a 12 count nug large 140 coke 100 granola bar 800 anthonys pizza 500 weight gainer (bed) and it isnt whining im asking a question douche bag
Dont Gain weight I have, actually. I'm also aware weight loss is a symptom of hyperthyroidism. I don't claim to be an expert on the subject by any means, but, unless you plan on having it surgically removed, the most logical answer I can give you to counter your weight loss would be, eat more.
Dont Gain weight what ever i come on here to ask a question and as always everyone is a bunch of macho pricks no wonder everyone thinks any one with muscle is an ******* seems like most of you are.
