      Calories in vs Calories out

I just started IIFYM and seriously tracking fat intake instead of only protein... Honestly, eating the way I normally do, I only have to track calories. Over the time I've been using calorie counter, my fat has always been 80-90 grams, and protein has always been ~230 grams except today because im traveling for another college visit. I think I still got ~190+ grams from almost all whole foods.

Try tracking your macros for a week or two, and if you notice you always hit/exceed your fat and protein, you can go back to just doing calories.

You didn't say you counted them...

There is a bit of variability there. Unless you are very light, I would not be comfortable with those levels and that variability.

By the way, read this on "good vs bad" food choices:

Cliffs: 10-20% of what you eat can be "junk" foods if you so choose.

you probably get bloated from salt and preservatives in the fast/processed foods. Happens to me too. Try getting the low sodium options or the "fresh" menu items. Makes it more manageable for me.

230 grams for a 156 LB person? Dude that's way overkill

You only need about .5 to .8 grams of protein per LB of bodyweight. I'm 210 LBs and I almost never consume any more than 150-160 grams
