Ok so i got a cagiva w16 600cc single 4stroke. engine **** out on me thursday night. i bought an engine out a river 600 and have managed to get it working (had to swap the stator and starter motors over) so it runs anyway BUT after bout 10 mins of riding it started to nip up, squeaking and on tick over would cut out -_- the oil levels right, oil pump is definatly working new fresh oil in it I just cant figure out what it is.... cam chain tensioner is working its an auto type one by the way. bike is oil and air cooled.... PLEASE help iv been searching everywhere and cant figure this out REPS to who helps!
bike engine problems....? FFS! You bought an engine out of a river? A river as in a natural stream of water? How are the spark plugs?
bike engine problems....? FFS! No idea..could be all sorts of things...to be honest though it doesn't appear to be the most reliable machine from the start.

The starter and stator were off the old engine which packed up good style... i dont think its the starter as the sound comes from the barrel so im thinking its a cooling/lube issue.... come on im sure plenty of guys on this board have had cooling and LUBE issues in the past Uriel your experience/thoughts?

bike engine problems....? FFS! temp guage!? its a Cagiva not a Reiju! :/ nip up as in it gets tight and has internal resistance im pretty sure from the piston as on tick over it will cut out
