This may be a stupid question but I am using a new source and never had to do a bank tranfer before so just wondering is basicaly go up to the desk and ask them to do a tranfer to mr **** at *** bank with account ******. ??
Bank tranfers from Natwest That's pretty much it, name and acc number and sort code. Good luck making a bank transfer today though, I just tried it over the fone, online and at the branch and it isn't happening coz their systems are down.
Bank tranfers from Natwest The only thing i dont like about bank transfer is if you get ripped off you're fcuked, no chance of any refund through bank, i always prefer to use visa/debit.

Bank tranfers from Natwest When I paid my source via bank transfer there was no charge at all, my source is a uk source. Payments going outside of the uk I don't know about though.
Bank tranfers from Natwest I know most are trustworthy(ish) but i still hate to do it, when you do the transfer keep an eye on your account for any direct debits popping up. Better yet, if you have an extra empty account just use that for bank transfers. ( i have a few accounts, all empty so I'm safe!)
