Been and got a 2x pack of asda beef burgers tonight, £1.25 i think they were, from the fridge/BBQ section. Claimed to be 83% beef, which i thought, fair enough for £1.25 for 2, 227g in a pack. Got home and got cooking, to check the back of the pack, for it to say 0.9g protein per 100g. Surely this is wrong? theres no way that 83% beef can be 0.9g of protein per 100g? possible mis-labelling? or are they literally that bad? Thanks Shaun
Asda beef burgers haha - thats what the website says aswell... http://groceries.asda.com/asda-estor...questid=110624 got to be mislabelled mate.... or its part of the cos that arent classed as meat.... i always use their website for checking food labels.... now im not so sure its a good idea!
Asda beef burgers the steaks are really good in asda the extra special ones and cheap compared to other supermarkets. if your on a budget the turkey mince is dirt cheap as well!
Asda beef burgers yea i make my own burgers aswell, use either minced beef, chicken or turkey and add herbs and spices x
Asda beef burgers Home made is king, but for time restraints the 100% ones are great! Homemade ones all I add is salt to bind (no egg) and sage, sometimes I mix it up and add dried chilli flakes or smoked paprika
