      Any fluid ?

I watched a doc on BBC 1 a bit back where they did an experiment where one twin sister drank her water, the other one just basically any fluid as long as she got her 2 litres ( non alchoholic )

There were NO significant differences at the end of the tudy, none at all so what are your opinons on this ?

do you stick to the water religiously or are you ok with other sources ?

i posted a thread about this as i wasn't sure if other liquids counted as part of water intake or if it was strictly water.

i drink 2 litres/day along with loads of tea and the occasional glass of juice.

so in total looking at about 3 1/2 litres give or take.

It's common sense really. Even if it's pure distilled H2O in the glass, as soon as it hits your stomach it's going to be mixed in with whatever is in there.

I almost never drink plain water. I'm a major tea guzzler though - 10 to 15 mugs on a normal day.

water for me aswell, maybe the odd glass of cola or juice here and there, and the protein shakes......when i would drink 2 litres of orange juice a day instead of water (during my uni days) id notice i would be more dehydrated (from urine colour), so thats quite interesting it didnt affect the twins.......maybe its different if u work out everyday?
