Hey, I was thinking if my macros are OK or not. I have read Emma Leigh’s thread and I made a program. According to her calculations I have to take 190 g protein(at max), 70 g fat(at min) and 350 g carbs but I am very paranoid about losing muscle or gaining fat so I changed my macros as 210 g protein, 50 g fat. My current diet is; Meal 1: 100g oats, 100g nonfat milk, 1 can of tuna (80 g), 1 whole egg, 3 egg whites, 1 banana. Meal 3: 1 chicken breast., 100g oats, 100g nonfat milk. Meal 2: 1 cup of white rice, 1 cup of a vegetable with olive oil. -Workout- (just after I finish it, I eat 1 banana) Meal 4: 1 cup pasta, 1 cup of a vegetable with olive oil. Meal 5: 1 chicken breast. Proteins: 210 grams Fats: 55 grams Carbs: 335 grams Calories: 2700 #Note: I don't know how much fat is used for 1 cup of white rice, 1 cup of pasta and 2 cups of vegetables. I assume there is 1 tablespoon of olive oil at total. So WITH 1 tablespoon of olive oil (15 grams) my fat intake is 55. If I am wrong about it please warn me. Thank you
Should I Change My Macros? why are you paranoid? consuming less fat and more protein will not stop you gaining fat, and aid you in gaining muscle. your diet looks boring, and doesn't seem to calculate to 2700 calories. do you enjoy eating 5 times a day? and do you enjoy eating them foods?
Should I Change My Macros? Well, what can you guys offer me then? OK I will up fats, and down my... proteins? It does make 2700 calories, but like I said I don't know how much fat is required to cook white rice, vegetables and pasta. That's why I added 1 tablespoon of olive oil. It is not written in my diet.
Should I Change My Macros? 210g protein is fine but you never told me how much 1 chicken breast is in oz I don't think you're eating 210g pro
Should I Change My Macros? i boil my rice, pasta and veggies.. so i don't use fat to cook them. eat foods your familiar with, that you enjoy, and know how to cook. true..
Should I Change My Macros? Yes but I eat in a restaurant, so I don't know how much they use. btw I ****ing love rice I eat nearly 475 grams of chicken breast every day. So 1 chicken breast makes 237.5 grams. It is 210 grams of protein, isn't it?
Should I Change My Macros? Nah that's only like 110 g pro... And that seems to be your only protein source meals 2-5 Being generous we'll say you get another 40g at breakfast. This is ~150 pro by my estimations
Should I Change My Macros? I'd do 150g protein, 75g fat then fill the rest with any combination of p/f/c. Get your micros too, though.
